E.S.Group established number of various reputed institutions with the aim to impart quality education to the rural students in and around Villupuram District whose dream of aspiring higher and quality education was a distant dream. Today, more than 10,000 students undergo as many as 25 streams of studies under the guidance of 400 competent, dedicated, talented and committed faculty members in a well furnished class rooms and well equipped laboratories. The Institutions are located in vast campuses on a land area of 95 acres.
The elumalai polytechnic college was started in the year 1983, with an intake of 240 students per year, now the intake is increased to 600 per year. It was started with four disciplines that are civil engineering, electronics and communication engineering, electrical and electronics engineering and mechanical engineering. Now it has grown into seven disciplines by adding Automobile Technology, Computer Engineering and 3D Animation & graphics with the aim to provide quality education as per the changing needs of society by implementing and introducing various innovative new courses so as to make the distant dream come true at a reachable pace to the rural students in and around Villupuram district. Today, more than 2000 students aspire various courses here and come out in flying colours
The institution was awarded ISO 9001:2000 certification on 23rd January 2004 and subsequently ISO 9001:2008 from the yaer 2009 bu TUV management services Gmbh. Department of civil engineering, mechanical engineering and electronics & communication engineering have got NBA accreditation for three years from 15-02-2005. Department of electrical and electronics engineering has been accreditated for three years and automobile technology accreditated for five years from 2008.
