The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering bloomed during 1983 with an intake of 60 Students. This Diploma program is accredited by NBA during 2008.We cannot imagine the world without Electricity and nowadays, the Electrical and Electronic Devices have become essential and inevitable part of our daily lives. At present the role of EEE Department is not only to pursue Academic Excellence but also to motivate and empower the students to be lifelong learners and critical thinkers.
The Department is enriched with active and enthusiastic Faculty for facilitating the student fraternity. Various state of the Art laboratories like Electrical Machines Lab, Electronic Devices and Circuits Lab, Wiring and Winding Lab, Analog and Digital Electronics Lab Microcontroller Lab, Control of Electrical Machines Lab & Power Electronics Lab are the added features of the Department.
All the labs are well equipped to impart good practical training to the students.
Students acquire a rigid foundation in mathematical, core science and engineering fundamentals to pursue their higher education in various globally reputed Institutions and are well versed in latest software to match the Industrial needs.
Students gain skills, confidence and expertise themselves in Innovative Technologies associated with current technology, capable of providing efficient energy management solutions and also compete vibrantly through the professional society platform and therefore crafted to be competent Entrepreneurs and Industry ready Electrical Engineers.
The Department is active in organizing the In-plant training, Industrial Visits, seminars, Guest lectures, Skill Training, various Workshops and Technical symposiums on latest technologies for the growth and development of Faculty and Students.
Electrical and Electronics Engineering is a Multidisciplinary course wherein after completion of this course the students can choose any domain for their higher studies. An Electrical and Electronics Engineer can work with Industries, which deals in Product Development and Design, Control System and Management, Transportation and Wireless Communication, Automotive, Defence, Space Research Organizations, State Electricity Boards, Power Sectors, etc.
