The main role of EPTC Students Council is to create a partnership among the students, parents and the college authorities to create a sense of ownership among the students. The department regularly organizes technical workshops for the faculty members to expose them to emerging areas.
The department has state-of-the art facilities for various laboratories, department library and classrooms to support e-learning (DTMS). The department has a well-equipped centralized workshop facility which caters to the needs of various departments. Guest lectures and industrial visits are periodically arranged for the students to supplement their curriculum. We strive for all round excellence in students, encouraging them in all extracurricular activities.
Every year 100 % of our students are recruited as soon as they enter the fifth semester. Some of the companies where our students have secured campus placement include, TVS, Brakes India Private Limited Renault-Nissan, Alstom, BMW, Titan, Swing Shutter, KYB Yamaha, ZOHO, Godrej. Some of the students are pursuing higher studies in Esteemed engineering colleges. Besides the academic activities, the department is dynamically involved in conducting various Value added certified courses.
The labs has all the required equipment to give good practical training to the students. With a team of able and efficient teaching and workshop staff and fully equipped labs, we ensure that our students are well trained and sent out to catch any challenging opportunities.

Every year Industrial visits and in-plant training have been arranged to expose the students to the industrial atmosphere. Many reputed industries like Ashok Leyland, TVS etc. have approached us for placement and many students have been placed in the above industries.
An advanced CAD application laboratory exclusively for students has been established at a cost of Rs.42 Lakhs with a total area of 190Sq.m. The advanced software tools like Pro-E, CATIA, SOLIDWORKS, etc, are available in or lab enables the students to develop their Design and Modeling Knowledge.
Modernized foundry, smithy and welding labs have been established at an overall cost of Rs.9 Lakhs with a total area of 250 sqm Advanced welding, foundry and smithy techniques have been instructed to the students.
Well equipped special machines labs have been established at a cost of Rs.41 lakhs with a total area of 250 sqm. Modern machining techniques are taught with high precision machine tools. Well equipped foundry, machine and welding labs have been established at a cost of Rs.40 lakhs.
Students get practical training about turning, thread cutting, knurling, bushing, drilling and boring at lathe section. Its value is Rs.40 lakhs.
